Observation on Therapeutic Effects of Invigorating Qi and Nourishing Yin Method and Porcine Pancreas in the Treatment for 50 Cases of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Objective: To inspect clinical effects of invigorating Qi and nourishing Yin method and porcine pancreas in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus.Method: One hundred patients with diabetes were divided into 2 groups randomly,50 cases each group.Treatment group were administered with recipe of invigorating Qi and nourishing Yin and powder of porcine pancreas,which were baked,ground and took after mixing with water,nine grams each time,three times per day;control group received routine western medicine.Changes of fasting blood-glucose,2h postprandial blood-glucose,blood fat,liver function and renal function before and after the treatment were observed in both groups.Result: Total effective rates of treatment group and control group were 92.00% and 90.00% respectively,the difference of both groups indicated no notable meaning(P0.05);treatment group was superior to control group obviously in improving symptoms and life quality.Conclusion: Method of invigorating Qi and nourishing Yin combined with porcine pancreas can achieve better effects,which can improve symptoms and improve life quality of patients.
