Abstract
Objective: To observe the curative effect of Decoction of Supplementing Qi, Nourishing Yin and Promoting Blood Flow combining with dimethylbiguanide on II-type DM. Method: 80 cases of II-type DM were selected and divided into 2 groups randomly according to visit order, 40 cases in each group. The cases in the control group were treated with dimethylbiguanide, and the cases in the treatment group were treated with Decoction of Supplementing Qi, Nourishing Yin and Promoting Blood Flow and dimethylbiguanide. The course of treatment was 4 weeks. Result: In the treatment group 29 cases were excellent, 8 cases were effective and 3 cases were ineffective. The total effective rate was 92.5% (95%CI=79.3%~98.4%). In the control group 16 cases were excellent, 17 cases were effective and 7 cases were ineffective. The total effective rate was 82.5%(95%CI=69.7%~93.3%). After treatment FPG and 2 Hpg deceased in the treatment group significantly(P0.01). The difference between the two groups was significant(u=2.546 7,P=0.011 4). Conclusion: The curative effect of Combination of Decoction of Supplementing Qi, Nourishing Yin and Promoting Blood Flow with western medicine on type of deficiency of both vital energy and yin and blood stasis in II-type DM is better than that of only western medicine.
