Water recycling economy and its exploitation and utilization

Based on analysis of the concept and basic characteristics of water recycling economy and reviewing the evolution of human’s exploiting and utilizing water resources, this paper declared that sustainable development theory, matter metabolizing theory and industry ecology theory were the three theoretical props for researching on water recycling economy, then gent onto the review of the current situation of the development of water recycling economy domestically and internationally. The paper also put forward the major measures that can promote the development of water recycling economy in China, pointing out that carefully planning and constructing integrated water cycling system based on the local conditions, innovating water cycling economic technology, and es- tablishing and improving water recycling economic models and management mechanism, were the main focuses for developing wa- ter recycling economy currently.
