The Analysis of Clinical Effect for Application of Minimally Invasive Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy in Treatment of Upper Urinary Tract Calculi

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy (mPCNL) in treating upper urinary tract calculi. Methods:120 patients with upper urinary tract calculi were divided into experimental group and control group,each group was 60 cases,the experimental group of patients for minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy lithotripsy treatment,the control group to open surgery.Stones were observed to take the net rate, operative time,blood loss and length of stay and complications were measured.Results:The stones to take the net were no significant difference(P 0.05);operative time,blood loss and hospital stay in experimental group were significantly less than the control group( P 0.05);after 5 d compared with preoperative creatinine levels were not changed significantly in experimental group.Conclusion:The technique of minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy for upper urinary tract calculi is safe and effective.
