Effect of Tiaozhong Decoction(TD,调中汤) in Treating Irritable Bowel Syndrome Type Diarrhea,a Report of 42 Cases

Abstract

Objective:To observe the effect of TD in treating irritable bowel syndrome typed diarrhea.Method:80 patients were randomly divided into the treatment group (n=42 cases) treated with TD and the control group(n=38 cases) treated with colonitis pill and orgzanol.Both the two groups were treated for 8 weeks. Result: The total effective rate in the treatment group and the control group was 95.24% and 76.32% respectively.The difference between the two groups was notable(P0.05). Conclusion:TD has good effect in treating irritable bowel syndrome typed diarrhea.
