Abstract

This research used the Spirulina platensis in the alkaline lake of Erdos Plateau( S1) and the Spirulina platensis in the lake of Chad Africa( S2) as experimental material, studied the compensatory growth of S1,S2 after low temperature and high light treatment by the physiological method. The results showed: The chlorophyll a,soluble sugar, soluble protein decreased under the stress of low temperature and high light; The samples recovered in room temperature and natural light which treated with low temperature and high light, the physical indexes of S1 were better than that of S2,the recovery time negatively correlated with the treating time and the treating temperature; To examine the cell treated with different condition by microscope showed: The algal filament was broken more or less after treated with low temperature and high light, the color turned from deep to shallow caused by photobleaching, the level of photobleaching was S2 S1.
