Abstract

In recent years great progress has been made in the field of transgenic animals.In this paper,several kinds of methods of generation of transgenic animals and their advantages and disadvantages were reviewed.The applications and problems of transgenic animals in animal husbandry,pharmaceutical industry and the establishment of human disease models were discussed.Finally the development trend of transgenic animals was mentioned.
