Abstract

The survivability of Automatic Switched Optical Network ( ASON ) is reflected in two fields: Control Plane (CP) and Transport Plane (TP).This paper will main talk about a method which can strengthen the survivability of CP.By improving the design of CP of ASON,the exception information of CP will send to Management Plane(MP) in time and accurately.So,it can enhance the survivability of CP of ASON.
