Abstract
Objective To observe the value of low-field MRI in grading diagnosis of articular cartilage injury of knee. Methods Low-field MRI data of 60patients(60knees,totally 360cartilage surfaces)with cartilage injury confirmed by arthroscopic were retrospectively reviewed.Taking the results of arthroscopy as standards, the value of low-field MRI in grading diagnosis of articular cartilage injury was evaluated. Results The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy rate of lowfield MRI for articular cartilage injury of knee was 78.50%(157/200),91.25%(146/160)and 84.17%(303/360),respectively.Low-field MRI results had good consistency with those of arthroscopy for 2—4grade,but not for grade 1articular cartilage injury. Conclusion Low-field MRI is valuable in grading diagnosis of grade 2—4articular cartilage injury of knee, but not good for grade 1injury.
