On the Trend of Thoughts of Westernization

Abstract

In the academic world,ideas are different about the relations between the Reform Group and the Westernization Group,and between the thoughts of the two groups.The author of this paper thinks,in the 60s and 90s of the 19th century,there appeared in the Chinese society a new trend of thoughts,that was the Westernization Thoughts.The early thoughts of Reform and Westernization thoughts are the Left Wing and the Right Wing of the trend of thoughts.
