Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the curative effects and economic results of 3 kinds of antibacterials. METHODS: 186 patients with bacterial pneumonia were selected and randomly divided into 3 groups. Group A were treated with cefotaxime,Group B with levofloxacin and Group C with cloxacillin sodium. The curative effects and adverse drug reactions were observed and analyzed by pharmacoeconomics method.RESULTS: The total effective rates in Group A, B and C were 77.42%, 87.10% and 72.58%, respectively(P0.05). The total costs were(1 184.93±321.72),(1 532.59±426.35) and (1 830.35±311.83)yuan, respectively(P0.05), of which the cost in Group A was the lowest. CONCLUSION: Cefotaxime was the optimal treatment for bacterial pneumonia.
