Economic analysis and drug efficacy of antibiotics in treatment of bacterial pneumonia

Objective To explore the results of the efficacy and economics for the four kinds of antibiotics in treatment of bacterial pneumonia.Methods 196 patients with bacteriological pneumonia were randomly divided into A,B,C,D groups(n=49) and were treated with cefoperazone sodium and sulbactam sodium,ceftriaxone sodium,cefmetazole sodium,cefuroxime sodium.In the course of treatment,the effects and the adverse reactions were observed.Results A,B,C,D group,the total effective rate was 97.58%,97.87%,95.83%,96.43%(P 0.05).The cost-effectiveness ratios were 13.52,17.10,14.89 and 14.10.Conclusion According to the views of pharmacoeconomics,cefoperazone sodium and sulbactam sodium is the best drugs among the four kinds of drugs in the treatment of bacterial pneumonia.
