Abstract

One Newcastle disease virus(NDV) isolated from flesh pigeon of shandong was determined as a velogenic strain by chicken embryo half-lethal dose(ELD50) of 107.8,the mean death time (MDT) of 52.5h, the intracerebral pathogenicity index (ICPI) of 1.8, and the intravenous pathogenicity index (IVPI) of 2.2.After the NDV was injected into non-immunizing flesh pigeon, typical symptom and pathological changes was found.
