Abstract
OBJECIVE:To probe into the characteristics and regularity of the adverse drug reaction (ADR) occurred in a hospital so as to provide reference for rational drug use. METHODS:A total of 393 ADR cases collected from the hospital in 2012 were analyzed retrospectively in respects of age and sex,route of administration,involved drug,clinical manifestations,ADR report type and prognosis,etc. RESULTS:Of the total 393 ADR cases,anti-infective drugs took up the highest proportion,which caused ADR in 186 cases (47.33%) ,followed by TCM in 80 cases (20.36%) . ADR was more often seen in the patients aged 40-60 years and oral route of administration. Gastrointestinal reactions were the most common clinical manifestations in 178 cases,accounting for 45.29%;there were 100 cases of new and severe ADR,accounting for 25.45%. CONCLUSIONS:The occurrence of ADR is associated with a variety of factors. ADR monitoring should be strengthened to reduce or avoid the occurrence of ADR. The related ADR reporting and analysis system should be evolved to ensure the safety of drug use in the clinic.
