Comparison of clinical curative effects of different doses of mifepristone for termination of early pregnancy

Objective To compare the clinical curative effects of different doses of mifepristone for termination of early pregnancy.Methods The women with early pregnancy according with medication termination in our department in recent years were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,120 cases in each group.The observation group was given mifepristone 75 mg on 1 d,50 mg on 2 d and 25 mg on 3 d,and at 2 h after administration,misoprostol 0.6 mg was added.The control group was given mifepristone 30 mg on 1 d,20 mg on 2 d and 10 mg on 3 d,and at 2 h after administration,misoprostol 0.6 mg was added.The related data were observed and recorded for comparative analysis.Results The two groups had the same method with different dosages.The complete abortion rate was 91.7% in the observation group and 90.8% in the control group,showing no statistical difference(P0.05).The rate of adverse reactions in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Regardless of different doses of mifepristone,mifepristone combined with misoprostol has good effect for terminating early pregnancy,which has become a safe and effective method for the termination of early pregnancy.
