It used to be attributed to sentimental and sorrowful feelings in the time of disorder and confusion. However, this article points out that the Gentry Group's sense of values should be understood mainly in the historical and social contexts.Based on this,it tries to analyze the intellectualism in Wei and Jin Dynasties from the historical background(YIN,因) and social basis(YUAN,缘).
