Abstract

The scholars in the Wei and Jin Dynasties pursued overstepping Confucian doctrine and returning to themselves, therefore, they inevitably overstepped Confucian ethical codes and indulged themselves in emotions, thus becoming a group of affectionate scholars. When they were displayed in social life, the behavior pattern characterized by strong feelings was formed.
