Abstract

Objective To investigate the efficacy of acitretin combined with narrow-band ultravioletB(NB-UVB) in the treatment of patients with psoriasis plaque. Methods A total of 65 patients with psoriasis plaque was randomly divided into treatment group(35 cases) and control group(30 cases). Treatment group was treated with acitretin and NB-UVB,while control group was treated with NB-UVB only. The two groups were both treated for 10 weeks. Results The effective rate was 91.43% in treated group, and 66.67% in control group. There was significant difference between two groups (P0.05). The recurrence rate of the two groups has no significant difference(P0.05). Conclusion Radiation of acitretin combined with NB-UVB is safe and can improve the therapy efficacy significantly for patients with generalized psoriasis plaque.
