Abstract
Anticoccidial cage test model was adopted to evaluate the new triazines compound nitromezuril.2 batches of test results showed that the anticoccidial index(ACI) of Eimeria tenella of nitromezuril were all above 180 at the dosage of 5,10 and 30 mg/kg.Additive content of nitromezuril at the dosage of 1 and 3mg/kg showed the effective and efficient anticoccidial activity,but little bloody and cecal lesion could be found.This revealed that nitromezuril is an efficient and safe new triazines compound.It is suitable at the dosage of 3~5 mg/kg.nitromezuril would be expected to develop into a new anticoccidial drugs.
