Abstract
In order to evaluate the efficacy of ardfuline against Eimeria,the experiment set up three drug test groups:ardfuline for 70 mg/kg,monensin for 121 mg/kg and nicarbazin for 125 mg/kg,besides positive and negative control groups.Except the negative control group,each chick was vaccinated 5.2×104 sporulated Eimeria coccidia oocysts.According to survival rate,relative body weight gain,oocyst value and lesion value,the anticoccidial index(ACI) was calculated to judge the effect.The results showed that the ACI of 121 mg/kg monensin group was 115.6,unsuitable for anticoccidial drugs,the ACI of nicarbazin was 137.2 with low anticoccidial effect,and the ACI of ardfuline group was 192.9,which was more than 180.0 to be the efficient anticoccidial drug.
