Abstract
Objective To establish a rat acute myocardial infarction model. Methods After SD rats were anaesthetized, the wire was led from the mouth by using the trocar and then punctured trachea at the neck and men linked to the respiration machine.Right anterior thoracotomy through 4th intercostal region was performed, and then the left anterior decending coronary artery was ligated. The area of myocardial infarction was observed. Results The model of myocardial infarction was established successfully. After receiving the operation as described above,95%of rats suffered myocardial infarction and the survival rate was 90%one week after operation. Conclusion This experiment provides an easy, effective and dependable way to establish a myocardial infarction model.
