Research on Tusi System of Chongqing Ethnic Regions in Historical Periods

Tusi system is a management system that the feudal dynasties carried out in ethnic regions of southwest and northwest in China during the Yuan Ming and early Qing dynasties,which developed from Ji-mi Policy of past dynasties.In Chongqing ethnic regions,historical tusi includes Ma tusi in Shizhu,Ran tusi in Youyang,four Yangs tusi in Pingcha,Yimei,Shiye and Diba of Xiushan.Tusi systems of Chongqing include seven aspects,they are title system,inheritance system,promotion system,punishment system,tribute system,soldier system and education system.Exploring the tusi system of Chongqing ethnic regions during historical periods is useful for specialists and scholars to further study the tusi system in Yuan Ming and Qing dynasties in China.
