Abstract

Objective To explore expression of E-cadherin and Ki-67 protein and clinical Pathological significance in the Medullary Carcinoma of Breast. Methods Using immunohistochemical method to detect the expression of E-cadherin and Ki-67in 42 cases of mammary medullary carcinoma. Results E-cadherin and Ki-67 protein expression positive rate in the medullary carcinoma of breast was 81%(34/42) and 76.2%(32/42).E-cadherin expression positive rate was significantly correlated with lymph node metastases(P 0.05), and regardless of with age of the patient, tumor size, distant metastasis(P 0.05).Ki-67 expression rate and positive degree increased with pathology histology classification, lymph node metastasis. Conclusion E-adherin and Ki-67 protein expression difference is the important reasons influence breast medullary carcinoma prognosis.
