Abstract
Objective:To compare the efficacy and safety between Clozapine and Aripiprazole.Methods:60 patients with schizophrenia by CCMD-3 were randomly allocated to two groups treated with Clozapine or Aripiprazole for 6 weeks. The Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale(PANSS) and Treatment Emergent Symptoms Scale(TESS) were used to evaluate efficacy and adverse effects.respectively before treatment and at zhe end of 2,4 and 6 weeks. Results: The efficacy rate of Aripiprazole was 93.33%,in which 86.67% were improved markedly. The efficacy rate of Clozapine was 90.00%,in which 83.33% were improved markedly. The PANSS scores in both groups decreased significantly after treatment; There was no significant difference in efficacy between two groups.Aripiprazole had fewer side effects zhan Clozapine. Conclusions: Aripiprazole is an effective drug for schizophrenia with few side effects.
