Abstract
Based on the theory of heat transfer and the constitution of drum brake,this paper analyzes the process of heat's creating and dissipating of drum brake,and builds the finite-element numerical simulation model of temperature.Taking the rear drum brake of EQ1092 as the object,sofrware ANSYS is used to simulate the temperature rising process of braking drum in the continuous braking conditions.The three-dimension temperature distribution of braking drum is obtained,and the characteristics of transient thermal field is analyzed.It is proved that the result of the calculation has an error of 20% compared with the test value.7 figs,7 refs.
