Abstract

Objective To conclude experience of diagnosis and treatment in unstable angina patients with anxiety and depression. Methods 388 patients with unstable angina who were randomly chosen from hos- pitalized in department of cardiovascular were evaluated with self-rating anxiety scale( SAS) and self-rating de- pression scale( SDS). The cases accompanied with anxiety and depression were randomly divided into treatment group and contrast group. Treatment group were treated with psychological intervention besides anti-anginal medication and antidepressants and anti-anxiety drugs. Contrast group were only treated with anti-anginal medi- cation. The curative effects were compared after 4 weeks. Results Anxiety incidence was 57. 4%,depression incidence was 44. 3%,Anxiety accompanied with depression was 29. 6%. The difference between the two group was remarkable. Conclusion Patients with unstable angina have high incidence in anxiety and depression. Cardiovascular doctor should improve identify ability and strengthen medicine treatment and psychological inter- vention in order to improve symptom as well as life quality.
