Abstract

Objective To study the psychological health of the patients with unstable angina pectoris and provide the some basis for clinical psychological therapy. Methods Self rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS)and type A behavior were employed to investigate the 63 cases of coronary heart disease patients. Results Among the patients of unstable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease, there were 46 patients whose SAS standard points were more than 38.The incidence of anxiety was 37%.And there were 28 patients whose SDS standard points were more than 43.The incidence of depression was 43%.There were 52 patients whose type A behavior points were 28~50.They accounted for 89%.The number of those suffering from depression was larger in unstable angina pectoris than that in acute myocardial infarction(t= 2.936,P 0.01),but there was no significantly difference in anxiety between these two group s(t= 1.045,P 0.05).Conclusion The patients who suffer from unstable angina pectoris often have anxiety and depression mood,we should give them active psychological rehabitation beyond based diseases intervention.
