Abstract

Aim To study the relationship of high sensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)and interleukin-6 in cerebral infarction. Methods The serum level of CRP in ninety patients(cerebral infarction group)and forty healthy persons(control group)was determined. All the patients were scored by clinic neurological deficit scale(NDS),and the relationship between their levels and the severity of cerebral infarction were compared and analyzed. Results The levels of hs-CRP and IL-6 in cerebral infarction were much higher than those control group(P0.05).The levels of hs-CRP and IL-6 were positively corrective with the severity of the disease. Conclusion The hs-CRP and IL-6 may be helpful to assecss the cerebral infarction. The serum level of CRP and IL-6 were closely correlated with the variety of cerebral infarction.
