Abstract

[Objective]The aim was to provide references for the accurate determination of common pollutants in acid rain. [Method]The contents of common anions in rainwater samples were determined with ion chromatography and the chromatographic condition was optimized. [Result]The optimum chromatographic condition was as follows:YIC-8 ion chromatograph and AJS-10 anion partition column were used, the mixture solution of 1. 5 mmol/L Na2CO3 and 1. 4 mmol/L NaHCO3 was used as elutriant, the flow rate was 1. 5 ml/min and the detector was inhibitory electrical conductivity detector. There were 5 detected anions of F -,Cl -,NO 2-,NO 3-and SO42 -in rainwater samples and no Br -and HPO42 -was detected. The detection limit, average recovery,RSD of the 5 anions were 0. 2 -50. 0 μg/ml,97. 0% -101. 2% and smaller than 4% resp. [Conclusion]The simultaneous determination method of 5 anions in rainwater with ion chromatography was established.
