Effect of Platycodon grandiflorum on the Concentration of Isoniazid in Rats Plasma

Abstract

OBJECTIVE:To study the effect of Platycodon grandiflorum on the concentration of isoniazid in rats plasma.METHODS:Isoniazid alone treatment was as control group and combined treatment of isoniazid and extract of P.grandiflorum was as experimental group.The plasma concentration of isoniazid of two groups was determined with derivative process method.RESULTS:After imigation 1.0 h,plasma concentration of control group and experimental group obtained the maximum value,and that of experimental groups was higher (65.8±1.05)% than that of control group(n=5,P0.05).CONCLUSION:The plasma concentration of isoniazid significantly increase after combined treatment of isoniazid and P.grandiflorum.
