A Study on Status of Health Human Resources in Community Health Service Institutions in One of Districts in Beijing

Objectives The purpose of this study was to obtain the characteristics and distribution of community health human resource in Beijing and to ameliorate community health service(CHS) system.Methods A questionnaire was administered to 472 staffs working in CHS center/stations of one district in Beijing.We collected material including personal background,educational background and professional title.Results The ratio of General Practitioners is correspondent with the standard established by Ministry of Health.Background information analysis showed age,educational background and professional title of most staffs were above 50 years old,post–middle school education and below middle-level title respectively.Conclusions The quantity of human resource was well enough.The training needs more improvement in future.
