Abstract
The synthesis of dibutyl sebacate with n butanol and sebacic acid as reactants and rare earth solid superacid SO 2- 4/TiO 2/La 3+ as catalyst was studied. The influential factors of reaction were investigated. The results showed that the appropriate conditions should be:Weight of catalyst was 1.0 g;molar ratio of n butanol to sebacic acid was 4.0;the taking water reagent(toluene)was 15 mL (when sebacic acid was 0.1 mol);the reaction time was 3.0 h;the reaction temperature was 110~140℃.The yield of dibutyl sebacate was about 98.0%.
