Abstract
The synthesis of di(2-ethylhexyl) sebacate with sebacic acid and 2-ethyl hexyl alcohol as reactants and solid superacid SO 2- 4/TiO 2 as catalyst was studied. The influence factors of reaction were investigated . The results showed that the appropriate conditions were as follows : the molar ratio of 2-ethylhexyl alcohol to sebacic acid was 3.5:1 ,mass of catalyst 4.0g/mol,reaction time 4h,water-carrying reagent(benzene)15mL,The yield of di(2-ethylhexyl) sebacate was 98.2 %.
