Anesthetic Effect of Compound Articaine and Lidocaine in the Oral Implantation Operation and the Effects of Them on Heart Rate and Blood Pressure

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the local anesthetic efficacy of Compound articaine and lidocaine in oral implantation surgery and the effects of them on cardiovascular system.METHODS:A total of 137 implants of 98 patients who need implantation surgery under local anesthesia were randomly divided into articaine group and lidocaine group.They underwent implantation surgery under local anesthesia of articaine or lidocaine.The pain and discomfort of patients in 2 groups were tested by using VAS,the heart rate and blood pressure were measured and analyzed comparatively immediately after local anesthesia,during surgery,and 5 minutes after surgery.RESULTS:After surgery,the VAS of pain of patients in group A was(13.4±6.83) mm,and that of groups B was(23.4±12.2) mm.The anesthetic efficacy of Compound articaine in implantation surgery was superior to the latter(P0.05),and there was no statistical difference in the effects of them on heart rate and blood pressure.CONCLUSION:Compound articaine is the ideal choice for local anesthesia in implantation surgery.
