Abstract
On the basis of their biochemical identification of 15 strains of Escherichia coli(E.coli) isolated from commercial chicken in four cities(districts) of Henan Province, the minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC) of 17 kinds of antimicrobial agents against them in vitro was determined by micro-fold dilution method, and judged their the drug resistance and comparatively analyzed the resistance patterns according to the antibacterials susceptibility standard of the National Committee for Clinical laboratory standardization(NCCLS)(nineteenth edition of 2009).The results showed 15 strains of chicken E.coli have different levels of resistance to drugs in 16 of the 17 kinds of antimicrobial agents, including cefazolin, enrofloxacin, neomycin, ciprofloxacin 90%~100% resistance ratio, amoxicillin, ceftriaxone, gentamicin, azithromycin resistance ratio more than 80%,doxycycline,spectinomycin,levofloxacin resistance ratio more than 60%.17 kinds of antimicrobial susceptibility ratio more than 60 percent including polymyxin B,amikacin, florfenicol, and the rest of the drug sensitivity ratio below 40%.15 strains of chicken E.coli are multi-resistant strains, the most drug resistance spectrum are 14 kinds, and the least drug resistance spectrum are 6 kinds. It showed that Chicken E.coli has generated widespread resistance to common-used antibiotic drugs and a wide resistance spectrum.
