Abstract

Objective To evaluate the value of ultrasound in the screening and diagnosis of fetal malformations. Methods The outcome of 7469 ultrasound screened fetuses and 972 ultrasound diagnosed fetuses in high-risk were analyzed retrospectively. Results Totally 158 (2.12%) cases were abnormal on ultrasound in 7469 screened fetuses, and 460(47.33%) cases were abnormal in 972 fetuses in high-risk. Conclusion Ultrasound plays an important role in screening and diagnosing fetal malformations.
