Industrial Structure Variation and Laborers'Employment:An Empirical Analysis Based on Shanghai

Abstract

Shanghai is facing the dual-task of industry structure adjustment and full employment for laborers.This paper makes an empirical analysis of the relationship between industry structure and employment structure by means of structural deviation coefficient,correlation matrix and employment elasticity,and presents policy suggestions for both upgrading industry structure and promoting employment accordingly.
