Abstract

[Objective]To explore the clinical value of high resolution Color Doppler Ultrasonography in diagnosis of breast mass.[Methods]The features of HFUS were retrospectively analyzed in 86 cases with breast mass identified with pathology.[Results]A total of 70 cases of benign tumor and 16 cases of malignant tumor were diagnosed by pathology. The diagnostic accuracy was 93.2% in the benign tumor and 84.6% in the malignant tumor. Most of the benign tumor appeared as regular shape, smooth border, homogeneous internal echoes,no rear attenuation and length/width﹤1. Doppler flow imaging grades were 0-I,the resistance index(RI)﹤0.70. The majority malignant tumors appeared as irregular shape and border low echoic,no attenuation and length/width﹥1. Doppler flow imaging grades were II-III and RI﹥0.7.[Conclusion]High resolution Color Doppler Ultasounograpy should be preferably used to diagnose or differentiate benign and malignant breast tumors.
