Abstract

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of breast benign and malignant tumors with Color Doppler Ultrasonography. Methods With combined examination of high frequency ultrasonography and Color Doppler ultrasonography,95 cases of breast benign and malignant tumors were analyzed in the features of ultrasonic images and spectrum.Tumor shape, boundary, envelope, calcification and inner echo were especially adverted with 2-D ultrasonography. The blood flow distributing and spectrum were observed by Color Doppler ultrasonography and were compared with pathologic results. Results Surgical pathology confirmed that 53 cases(56 focuses found)were benign and 42 cases(47 focuses found)were malignant. The detected rate of masses was 100%(105/105).The detected rate of benign tumors was 95.9%(47/49),and the detected rate of malignant tumors was 92.8%(52/56).Conclusion Color Doppler Ultrasonography has great value in differential diagnosis of breast benign and malignant tumors.
