Abstract

During the Ming and Qing Dynasties,the general education aim of Huizhou patriarchal clan was to vitalize the patriarchal clan.in order to made this general aim come true,Huizhou patriarchal clan furtherly subdivided their general education aim in three arrangements: firstly,to pass the imperial examination and became an official,which can bring glory on their ancestors;secondly,to learn the technical abilities to earn their livings,striving for being a rich and honour person;thirdly,to be diligent in the agriculture work and reading.Encouraged by the Huizhou patriarchal clan,the society of Huizhou was rich and booming,and presented a harmonious and prosperous situation,which rarely appeared during the feudal period.
