Abstract
Objective To investigate the distribution and drug resistance of nosocomial infection pathogens in ICU from 2008 to 2009 in our hospital. Methods Antimicrobial susceptibility tests were carried out in 1 149 clinical isolated strains by means of K-B method. Results Gram-negative bacilli,gram-positive cocci, fungi were accounted for 72.24%,18.71%and 9.06% among 1 149 isolated strains, respectively. The top three gram-negative bacteria were Acinetobacter baumannii,Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli, which were accounted for 24.89%,20.36% and 10.96%,respectively.The main gram-positive cocci were Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus haemolyticus, which were accounted for 13.22% and 3.05% respectively. The detective rates of ESBLs in Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae were 61.20% and 57.14%,the detective rates of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus(MRS) was 70.69%,no strains of gram-positive cocci were resistant to vancomycin. The antimicrobial activity of sulperazon and imipenem were strongest to Acinetobacter baumannii,Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterobacteriaceae. Conclusion Gram-negative bacteria were the major pathogens infected in ICU patients and the pathogens showed high drug resistance, which demonstrated that more attention should be paid in clinical so as to reduce the drug resistance and incidence of complication.
