Abstract
The concept of safety culture in the construction industry is discussed as well as the characteristics of safety culture in the construction enterprise on four levels (enterprise, project, median management and worker). The similarity and difference between safety culture and safety climate are clarified, and the safety climate indexes are analyzed. A typical case is presented to explain the relationship between safety culture and safety performance. Finally, how to effectively build safety culture inside an enterprise is recommended to help her continuously improve organizational safety culture.
