Abstract
According to the relationship between the competitive sports and the mass sports,this article analyzes that the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games has brought a rare opportunity to the development of the mass sports.This article analyzes the successful experience of the Beijing Olympic Games,confirms that the combination of the popularity of mass sports and the improving of competitive sports has taken an extraordinary role in the Beijing Olympic Games,and discusses the idea of mass sports and the 2008 Olympic Games,people-oriented.Also,this article puts forward the recommendations of developing the rural mass sports and China's response to the development of mass sports after the Beijing Olympic Games.Thus,we can achieve the coordinated and sustainable development of competitive sports and mass sports.
