Abstract

Objective To explore the pathogenesis and laboratory test of progressive cerebral infarction. Methods Prothrombin time(PT),thrombin time(TT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),fibrinogen(Fib),the level of blood lipids and the indicators of hemorheology were measured in 72 patients with progressive cerebral infarction and 72 patients with complete cerebral infarction. Results Compared with complete cerebral infarction patients,PT,TT and APTT in patients with progressive cerebral infarction were significantly shorter. The concentration of Fib and the levels of TC,TG and LDL were significantly higher in patients with progressive cerebral in farction(P0.05-0.01).The whole blood viscosity(high shear, middle shear, low shear),the whole blood restore viscosity and RBC aggregation,RBC deformability were significantly higher in patients with progressive cerebral infarction than those in patents with complete cerebral infarction(P0.05-0.01).Conclusions The function of coagulation and the contents of blood lipids in the patients with progressive cerebral infarction are significantly stronger or higher than those in patients with complete cerebral infarction and significan abnormal alteration of hemorheology exists in patients with progressive cerebral infarction.
