Effect of Atorvastatin Combined with Trimetazidine on Coronary Heart Disease and Angina Pectoris

Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of atorvastatin combined with trimetazidine on coronary heart disease and angina pectoris. Methods From May 2012 to March 2014,48 patients with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group,each of 24 cases. Control group given trimetazidine based on conventional treatment, while observation group given atorvastatin based on the treatment of control group. Improvement of angina pectoris symptoms and ECG,and incidence of adverse reactions during treatment were observed.Results The total effective rate of improvement of angina pectoris symptoms of observation group was 95. 8%,was higher than that of control group of 66. 7%( χ2= 4. 923,P 0. 05). The total effective rate of improvement of ECG of observation group was 87. 5%,was higher than that of control group of 62. 5%( χ2= 4. 000,P 0. 05). No one of the two groups occurred adverse reactions during treatment. Conclusion Atorvastatin combined with trimetazidine is effective and safe on coronary heart disease and angina pectoris,which can improve the patients' angina pectoris symptoms and heart function.
