Abstract
Objective To investigate the impact of low molecular heparin(LMH)and valsartan on urine albumin excretion rate(UAER)in patients with early type-2 diabetic nephropathy(DN).Methods Sixty patients with early type-2 DN were randomly divided into experiment group and control group each consisted of 30 cases.Patients in experiment group were treated with valsartan(p.o)and LMH(s.c).Patients in control group were treated with valsartan(p.o)only.The blood pressure(BP),fasting plasma glucose(FPG),glyocosylated HbA1(HbA1c)and urine albumin excretion rate(UAER)were monitored before and after treatment. Results UAER after treatment were significantly lower than that before treatment in both experiment and control groups, showing statistically significant differences(P0.01).After treatment,UAER in patients of experiment group were significantly decreased compared with those in control group(P0.05).No significant differences in FPG,PPG and HbA1c were observed in both groups before and after treatment. Conclusion Low molecular heparin combined with valsartan is capable of reducing UAER in patients with early type-2 DN.
