Abstract
Polyethylene waxes were prepared by the grafting of maleic anhydride or maleic anhydride-styrene onto polyethylene wax.The effects of grafting time,temperature,the amount of initiator,maleic anhydride and styrene on the grafting degree of the products were investigated.The results show ditertbutyl peroxide is a good initiator for the graft reaction.Under the reaction conditions of initiator amount of 0.4%,maleic anhydride amount of 6.0%,styrene amount of 4.0%,reaction temperature 143 ℃,reaction time 2.5 h,grafting ratio is 3.4%.And the correlation superior stem grafting product carries on the infrared spectrum analysis,holds the analysis,and soon index analysis.
