Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of Pianzaihuang on proliferation and migration in human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVEC),and explore its mechanism. Methods The HUVEC viability was detected by MTT assay and the effect of Pianzaihuang on HUVEC migration was detected by wound healing assay. Results Compared with blank control group, the HUVEC proliferation in each dose group was inhibited significantly after treatment with Pianzaihuang for 6,12,24,48 h respectively in dose-and time-dependent manner(P0.01),and the HUVEC migration in each dose group was inhibited significantly after treatment with Pianzaihuang for 24 h in a dose-dependent manner(P0.01).Conclusion Pianzaihuang can inhibit the proliferation and migration of HUVEC,which might be one of the mechanisms of its anti-tumor angiogenesis.
