Abstract
Objective: To determine the effect of bear gall powder(BBP) on proliferation and migration ability of human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVEC). Methods: To test the HUVEC proliferation activity by using MTT. The scratch test was used to analyze HUVEC migration ability by BBP intervention. Results: After 24h BBP intervention, HUVEC proliferation activity was inhibited signii cantly, especially after 72 hours, the HUVEC proliferation activity was inhibited(P0.05, P0.01). After 24, 48, 72 hours intervention and concentration of medicine in 0.3, 0.6, 0.9mg/mL respectively, it showed the characteristics of time and drug concentration. The HUVEC migration ability was also signii cantly inhibited. Conclusion: BBP has a signii cantly inhibition on proliferation and migration ability of HUVEC and shows potential anti-angiogenesis activity.
