Application of Transvaginal Ultrasound for Endometrial Polyps

Abstract

Objective To explore the diagnostic value of uterine endometrial polyps by transvaginal ultrasound.Methods Eighty-nine cases of endometrial polyps confirmed by pathology were analyzed.Results Seventy-one cases of endometrial polyps were accurately diagnosed by transvaginal ultrasound,while five cases(5.6%)were misdiagnosed and thirteen cases(14.6%)were missed diagnosed.Conclusion Transvaginal ultrasound is effective and easy for the diagnosis of endometrial polyps,it should be the first choice.
